Fire Stations

Volunteers are associated with 15 of the 37 fire stations in Fairfax County. Each volunteer department owns and/or operates at least 1 fire station, as well as emergency vehicles and equipment:

  • The Annandale Volunteer Fire Department owns two fire stations
  • The Franconia Volunteer Fire Department and Centreville Volunteer Fire Department each own one fire station and purchase emergency vehicles for another
  • The McLean Volunteer Fire Department and Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department each jointly manage and operate out of stations owned by the County
  • The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department, Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department, Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Lorton Volunteer Fire Department, and Greater Springfield Volunteer Fire Department each own one fire station
